Sava Bridge is built on the belief that talent is everywhere, but opportunity is not. Through focused support and strong partnerships, we can help ensure that more students have access to the education and experiences that shape their future.
Petnica Science Center
Petnica Science Center, located in western Serbia, is one of the country’s leading independent educational institutions, offering advanced, hands-on programs for highly motivated students. Each year, over 2,000 students participate in research projects, workshops, and interdisciplinary science programs focused on critical thinking and real-world problem solving.
Expanding Access
Many of Petnica’s students come from smaller towns and underserved regions, where access to advanced education, mentorship, and research opportunities is limited. Petnica identifies talented students regardless of background and provides them with access to opportunities that would otherwise be out of reach.
For these students, Petnica is often a turning point—offering exposure, support, and pathways that can shape their future.
Why Support Matters
Despite its impact, Petnica operates with a significant funding gap, with annual costs of approximately €1 million and consistent shortfalls in funding.
